Somaliland: Governor of Sahil Receives Livestock Donations for the Army

The Governor of Sahil Mr.Ali Abdi Abdillahi received donations of livestock from the people of Laasa-dacawo district. The livestock donations were intended for the soldiers at the front line stationed in Oog town.

The governor of Sahil who was on an official visit in Laasa-dacawo met with elders and traditional leaders of the area.

Area residents handed 246 goats and sheep to Governor Ali Abdillahi Abdi. The inhabitants of Laasa-dacawo pledged their support for the Somaliland army.

Speaking at the venue the people called on the country’s citizens to protect the sovereignty of Somaliland and avoid anything that might cause insecurity.

The governor stated that this was the first donation and would continue to support the causes of the Somaliland National Army.
