Traditional leader Ali Hussain Kahin who passed away on Thursday evening in Hargeisa was laid to rest on Friday by a multitude of mourners.
The late Boqor Ali Hussain was buried at Massalaha graveyards.
Leading the tens of hundreds of mourners was Waddani opposition leader Abdirahman Mohamed who sent his condolences to the family, relatives and friends of the departed leader.
The burial brought together scores of traditional leaders who paid the respect.
As per hierarchy traditions, his son Ibrahim, was tentatively anointed at the site to carry on mantle of his father.
