Hon Mohamed Bihi Yunis , the former Minister of Foreign Affairs and also one of the “KULMIYE” ruling party top post contenders has shunned the upcoming party central committee convention which is due to be held next Tuesday as illegal and against party constitution.
The former FM speaking during a press conference held earlier today said, “Our camp won’t attend the upcoming party central committee convention which is due to be held next Tuesday because it was clear that the convention was alright hijacked by the current party chairman Hon Muse Bihi Abdi and his group .
“We shall allow at any time the legitimacy any candidacy who is declared the winner during the upcoming convention because the circumstances in which he has being elected are illegal and non-binding “, Hon Bihi Yunis added.
Hon Bihi Yunis also urged the incumbent President to safeguard the coexistence of the communities living in the country and the ruling party unity at all times.
