“I have decided to rejoin my party and I am not leaving the party behind but instead I should back Kulmiye – life has ups and downs, a stormy day and a calm day, but whatever happens, it is time for me to go back to the party,” Kijandhe Kulmiye MP

Throwing in the towel, the former Kulmiye presidential contestant Ahmed Abdi Nuur Kijandhe has finally reassured his rigid support Kulmiye’s flag bearer – Muse Behi Abdi. MP Kijandhe who previously boycotted to participate Kulmiye’s Central Convention at Maansoor and who said the election within Kulmiye was a sham has now confirmed his respect for Muse Behi and his full support in Behi’s candidacy in the forthcoming elections slated for 2017.

Mr Kijandhe stated that he no longer supports Kulmiye Rivalry Camp. “I have decided to rejoin my party and I am not leaving the party behind but instead I should back Kulmiye – life has ups and downs, a stormy day and a calm day, but whatever happens, it is time for me to go back to the party,” said Kijandhe.

The party incumbent chairman Mr.Musa Bihi Abdi who was vying for the party ticket for president was elected unopposed after three candidates seeking the post threw in the towel at the eleventh hour and decided not to contest the election which they claimed was a sham.
