H.E President Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud Silanyo today joined fellow citizens in performing the rain seeking prayers in Burao, Togdheer region.
Prayer was performed by a large number of community in all parts of the Somaliland regions this morning in practicing of traditions of Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) whenever rain is delayed, praying that Allah Al-mighty will bring rains to all parts of the country.
The prayer was performed in the Sports Stadiums of big cities including Hargeisa, Berbera , Burao as well as in other part of the country.
The people come out in large after President Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo called on Somaliland people to perform Istesqa (Rain Seeking) Prayer and ask Allah for rain, during his meeting with clergymen last week.
