Somaliland Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Affairs Dr. Saad Ali Shire today meet with James Duddridge MP Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office(Africa) , in London UK.
During the meeting the two officials discussed matters of mutual interest such as economy, security and the democratization process.
Dr. Saad Ali Shire briefing the press moments after emerging from the closed door meeting said, “We discussed ways to enhance our existing in enhancing our political and diplomatic relations, overall our meeting was fruitful.
Ambassador Ali Aden, Somaliland Representative to the UK who was present during the meeting said, “Today’s meeting was important first being the first time our minister had such a high level meeting with his UK counterpart and also a time for reaffirming our political and diplomatic relations but also exploring ways of increasing cooperation in a wider range of issues between the two countries.
