H.E President Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud Silanyo on Friday night met with the newly appointed Turkish Envoy tasked with Somaliland/Somalia talks H.E Ahmet Rize Demeirer who is visit the country for the first time.
During the closed President Silanyo and Turkish Envoy tasked with Somaliland/Somalia talks H.E Ahmet Rize Demeirer discussed a wide range of issues among them the stalled SL/Somalia talks and to find ways in which Somaliland and Turkey would enhance the existing political and bilateral relations but also to increase trade and investment as means of reinforcing commercial and economic relations.
President Silanyo was flanked by H.E Vice President Abdurrahman Abdullah Ismail Saylic and the chairman of the ruling party “KULMIYE” Hon Muse Bihi Abdi among other dignitaries.
