Somaliland Ministers accompanying President Ahmed Silanyo’s delegation on his official visit to Ireland met with standing committee of Ireland parliament today.
The Ministers have appealed to the praliament of Ireland to vote for Somaliland’s recognition as an independent state that broke away from Somalia in 1991.
The meeting took place Ireland’s parliament premises and minister of foreign affairs, presidential affairs, information and Somaliland representatives to UAE and the UK attended the gathering.
Somaliland has asked the Irish parliament to table a motion which will vote for an international recognition that Somaliland gains.
