Somaliland House of National Assembly has today gone into recess and is expected to begin normal sessions after the Eid-Al-Adha occasion.
The session was chaired by the Second Deputy Speaker Hon. Ali Yusuf Ahmed.
There was a feeling inside the house which caused the speakers of the house to pick up a fight with each other yesterday.
The bone of contention was all about the transfer of SL’s Berbera Oil Terminal which the house previously voted against its privatization.
Security was tight during the parliament session where heavy police were deployed in the parliament premises opposite to the presidential palace.
During the parliament recess it is expected that mediation work is to start to bring the speakers together and reconcile on the recent fight and to bring the division of the house to an end.
