Somaliland security forces have detained a group of five people suspected of having links with the extremist group of Al-Shabab and have the intention of carrying out terrorist attacks in Somaliland.
SL law enforcement agencies have not issued a statement concerning the arrest of the terrorist group.
Security forces have intercepted a passenger bus from Buroa and bound to Hargeisa where the five people were travelling in. They were intercepted at Aw Barkhadle which lies east of Hargeisa yesterday evening.
Explosive items were found in their bags and later were taken to interrogation center for further investigation.
