The so-called Minister for Information, Ahmed Mohamed Hassan ‘Gacma Yare’, of the renegade group – ‘Khaatumo State’ – a subversive, splinter group formed in the Buuhodle area of Somaliland to destabilize the region, sends death squads after an employee of a remittance company,khaatumonews, a website run by the group reports (Source: http://khaatumonews.net/?p=20091).
The news item published in Somali says Gacma Yare labels Hassan Ahmed ‘Waaqle’ , himself, a member of Al Shebab, a pretext to legitimize the death sentence he put on the man. It can, also, be a prelude of a planned looting of company resources, other experts point out.
Other sources close to the officer in question denied that such an order came from him, but so far Gacma Yare himself did neither deny nor admit the reported attribution made to him as an ‘assassin’.
On the other hand, a Dahir Abdulle Alasow of the Waagacusub.com (among others) is asid to be the puppeteer running a giood number of saboteurs against the Republic of Somaliland hailing from fringe elements among two major Somaliland clans: the Dhulbahante and Samaroon (Gadabursi).
This Alasow has been seen making speeches at functions organized by militant groups in places such as Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden, haranguing the participants to fight against Somaliland, the Isaaqa, Dahabshiil company, and members of their own clans – depending on the occasion and any of a number of fights that he wanted to start and run from behind the curtains.
The Khatumo and Awdal insurgents themselves seem to revel in being naipulated by this Alasow an ex- checkpoint killer of Mogadishu himself.
In another development, other media sources had been writing these past weeks that Alasow is, in fact, a henchman and an intelligence operative for Al Shebab in Europe, where he poses as an anti-alshebab journalist championing the group’s defeat.
“Alasow is a devil who dons many shirts of varying colors,” an erstwhile associate of his said. “His greatest achievement up to now is how fooled the intelligence of a western nation such as the Netherlands.”
Alasow and Khaatumo elements appear to have effected a marriage of convenience to terrorize legitimate businesses such as Dahabshiil, Telesom, Daalo, and the like fulfilling, in part, directives that trace to Al Shebab which trains.
