Somaliland: UCID party leader weighs in on House Speaker election dispute

Date:

UCID party leader, Faisal Ali Waraabe held a press conference on Monday condemning Abdirahman Talyanle and Waddani’s rejection of the House Speaker election results and said that Waddani’s actions are warning for what is come to in November.

“Abdirahman Mohamed Talyanle was a well-respected MP, liked by many. It is very unfortunate that he is damaging his reputation with these claims,” Waraabe said.

“This dispute is showing the public who Abdirahman Irro really is and how Waddani is planning to react to the results of November’s Presidential Election. This is a wake-up call for all of us.” Waraabe said.
