In a press conference held by the minister of information, Osman Sahardid Adani has told that the points reached in Somalia’s consultative meeting has nothing to do with Somaliland.
The minister has said that Somaliland avoided to dissolve the political process over the past two decades and went on to say strongly that those who attend the election process in Somalia while hailing from Somaliland will be seen as committing a national treason.
The information minister has called on the int’l community not to meddle the internal affairs of Somaliland.
Somaliland claims it seceded from Somalia in 1991 but the world has not recognized it as an independent state.
