Somaliland delegation headed by the president of Somaliland HE Ahmed M. Silanyo left for Kuwait on an official working visit on Monday.
The president and the delegation boarded a special plane sent by Kuwait government and left from Egal airport.
President Silanyo is due to hold bilateral talks with Amiir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah who invited Somaliland president to Kuwait.
President Silanyo is accompanied by the First Lady, Ms. Amina Mohamed Jirde, Presidential affairs minister and president’s special secretary.
President Silanyo and his accompanied delegation arrived at Amiri Airport at 9:30 on late Monday.
President and his delegation was received at the airport by Sheikh Hamad Bin Sabah Ahmed and his Wife.
Silanyo is to begin his meetings with Kuwait government officials on Tuesday.
