President of the republic of Somaliland HE Ahmed Silanyo’s office says the meeting he held with the Head of the Judiciary was successful in strengthening the working relationship between these crucial arms of the State.
The meeting was held in the presidential palace on Sunday , where the President — as Head of the State — met with the country’s chairmen of Somaliland Supreme court and other heads of regional chairmen in the country.
President Ahmed Silanyo having came to power in 2010 did a lot of work to reform the country’s judiciary system which was yearning for change.
The budget earmarked for judiciary has been increased and the president wanted to see speedy reforms to the justice in Somaliland.
