Somaliland Security forces have captured eight gunmen involved in the recent killing of the late Major Abdirizaq Yusuf Mohamed “Cayasr” and are currently being held at the Somaliland criminal investigations department headquarters in Hargeisa.
Mr. Mohamed Abdi Jama aka Madax Yare, one of the eight gunmen suspected of being involved the cold blood murder of late Major Abdirizaq Yusuf Mohamed “Cayasr” is being treated at the Hargeisa General Hospital for gun wounds he sustained at the time of arrest.
Three of the alleged eleven gunmen involved in the gruesome incident are said to be still at large and security forces are still combing the area.
A state funeral was held for the late Major Abdirizaq Yusuf Mohamed “Cayasr” remains were laid to rest at the Berbera Muslim commentary on Friday.
