President of Somaliland HE Ahmed Silanyo has sent a message of condolence to the assassinated Sahil regional police chief Brigadier Abdirisak Yusuf Mohamoud alias “Asayr” who was gunned down by unknown gunmen on Tuesday during an ambush at Biyoolay district in Sahil region while on duty.
The president sent the message of condolence to the police force and different kinds of the country’s army on behalf of the nation of Somaliland.
The president is sending the condolence particularly the bereaving family, relatives and the people of Somaliland for losing such an effective man in uniform.
The president has said that the later Asayr was discharging national duty during the assassination.
The president has ordered those behind the heinous and horrendous killing should be arrested wherever they may hide and added that they should face the justice for the crime they have committed.
