Somaliland: Foreign Minister holds talks with Egypt’s Deputy Ambassador to Djibouti

Somaliland foreign minister Hon. Sa’ad Ali Shire has held talks on January 24 2016 with Mohamed Al Amin, former Egyptian ambassador to the neighboring country of Djibouti and is accompanied by the newly appointed Egyptian ambassador to Djibouti, Haitham Ahmed Omar.

The mission of the Egyptian ambassador to Djibouti is to introduce with Somaliland officials who are expected to have close working cooperation.

Mr. Haitham Ahmed Omar will be in charge of deepening the bilateral ties between Egypt and Somaliland although he is based in Djibouti.

They also talked about the trip that Somaliland FM is due to travel to Egypt in February and is expected to meet with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry.
