Somaliland foreign minister, Sa’ad Ali Shire said on Wednesday that the government plans to dispatch a delegation to Ethiopia to help the quest of an international recognition at the African Union leaders who are gathering in Addis Ababa for their summit.
The delegation from Somaliland is expected to table Somaliland’s agenda at the African Union summit where the leaders are expected to meet in Addis Ababa.
Speaking on the condemnation from the European Union on the executions carried out by Somaliland authority, the minister has stated firmly that EU must respect the Islamic rules which Somaliland is a must to abide by.
Dr. Sa’ad Ali Shire talking about the constant interference from Somalia authority, he said that the borders of Somalia and Somaliland date back to the colonial demarcation and there is no argument about that.
