Elders in Buhodle have castigated the government of Somaliland that all government institutions are not functioning in the town.
They have criticized the government of not having put in place a strategy which is aimed at making all regional offices in Buhodle to operate on daily day basis.
The elders have further said that the lack of operational offices in Buhodle have caused that the community lost in touch with the government.
The elders made a call to the government to have a new plan in place which will move the region forward.
Most of the eastern regions in Somaliland are lagging behind the rest in terms of development projects that have not been materialized.
The incumbent president Ahmed Silanyo of Somaliland ended the bloodshed in Buhodle after signing a deal with SSC militia leader, the current minister of health.
Buhodle, a town in the eastern regions of Somaliland is now enjoying relative peace and stability post the skirmishes between militia soldiers and Somaliland defense forces.
Clan hostilities have hampered the progress that Buhodle may have reached but the elders are sending a clear message to the government to come there and carry out development projects in the town.
