A well known tycoon in the Somali speaking territory the late Ibrahim Abdi Kahin alias “Ibrahim Dheere” has died in Djibouti today.
The demise of Ibrahim Dheere is confirmed to be the richest Somali man in all Somali speaking territory ever in the history. According to the French Economist, he is the richest Somali with an estimated wealth of 1.6 billion US Dollars. Ibrahim Cabdi Kahin was the biggest financer of the SNM in 1980s and was instrumental in Somaliland’s creation of its own currency
He was among the one of the tycoons in Djibouti although he hails from Somaliland by birth. He will be given state burial in Djibouti. Somaliland president sends sincere condolences to the lost of an important person in Somaliland history.
