A delegation headed by Head of Somaliland Immigration Police Brigadier General Mohamed Ali Yusuf has left for Borama, Awdal provincial capital today.
The objective behind the visit of the head of Immigration police is to speed up the implimentation of the security accord that the Ethiopian Federal Gov’t signed with Somaliland in Diri Dawa.
Mr. Mohamed has told that he wants to brief the immigration police in Awdal to have full understanding of the terms of the agreement.
The agreement states that both government should remain vigilant and alert when it comes to border crossing areas.
He said that both nations are committed to cooperate on people who are legaly entering into both territories.
Mr. Mohamed has revealed that Somaliland is putting alot of emphasis on combating illegal migrants.
