H.E President Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo has accepted the resignations of several top officials in his government.
President Silanyo speaking to the media hours after five cabinet ministers, three assistant ministers and the Presidential spokesperson announced they were leaving the government due to favoritism on the part of the President Silanyo.
“If the quitting officials have decided they can’t be part of the government then fine it’s there choose, they have the right to quit any time, others will fill their positions, there so many citizens who are ready to serve their nation.
Finally the President termed as false the favoritism allegations made by the outgoing Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation , I haven’t favored anyone or group and for a matter of fact that’s not even my calling , it’s for party’s to decide during the upcoming convention.
