His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates held a lunch banquet in honor of the visiting Somaliland President H.E, Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud “Silanyo” and his delegation who made a short stopover in UAE for days but later travel to Ireland.
After the luncheon, President of Somaliland and UAE PM held discussions which focused on strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries.
President Ahmed Silanyo of Somaliland has not hesitated to thank the UAE Federal government on the development and humintarian projects that it implimented in the country.
He added that Somaliland is committed to carry the ties between the two nations to a high level.
President Silanyo told that he is on his way to Ireland on official working visit to Ireland but has decided to make a stop in UAE. He thanked for the cordial recepton that he receives from UAE.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan has stressed that they are proud of boosting the bilateral ties between the two countries and added that he is happy to see Somaliland president and his delegation to make a short stopover in the UAE before resuming their journey.
Somaliland president was accompanied by the presidential affairs minister, SL representatve to the UAE and presidents special secretary.
The lunch banquet took place in Abu Dhabi but the president and his antourage returned to Dubai.
Somaliland president was later seen off by UAE officails in his return journey to Dubai.
