Mental Health Hospital Receives Foodstuffs From Dahabshiil

Dahabshiil Group has donated a truck load of foodstuffs to assist patients at Habeb Public Mental Hospital and Rehabilitation in Mogadishu, Somalia.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Dahabshiil Group will finance the construction of hospital that will be funded by the company once the gov’t provides the plot of land.

The company has allocated the foodstuffs to mentally unstable patients at Habeb Mental Hospital to benefit from donation.

The foodstuffs included rice, cooking oil, sugar which patients are expected to consume the months to come.

It is urged that other local firms are supposed to follow suit when it comes to the good example that Dahabshiil has made.

Dahabshiil Group has pledged to finance the funds in terms of the construction of new center for Habeb Public Mental Hospital.

The president of Somalia has promised to provide the plot of land where the new hospital set to e built.

Habeb Public Mental Hospital has thanked Dahabshiil for the donation and said that it plays a crucial role socials development projects.
