Jorge loved his work, his friends, and family. He is survived by his wife María Eugenia López-Rodó; his parents Virginia Fábregas and José Torrens; his sister Claudia Torrens.

FAO Somalia is organizing a commemoration in honour of Jorge’s life and work at our premises in Nairobi on Friday 8 May at 11 am; all are invited to attend.
