Thousands of mourners attended the burial ceremony of veteran journalist the Late Mohamed Rashid Farah Muhumed whose remains were laid rest today at Heedo Muslim cemetery.
Somalilanders from all walks of life gathered together to pay their last respect to the Late Mohamed Rashid Farah Muhumed who passed away last week in a tragic road accident.
“Late Mohamed Rashid Farah Muhumed was a professional journalist, he was a bold person and he is never angry, we’ll miss him, but I know he is in paradise”, said Mr. Abdoo fellow Journalist.
Late Mohamed Rashid Farah Muhumed felt the reason stemmed from a journalist’s calling “to seek and never compromise the truth.”
The death of Mohamed Rashid Farah Muhumed is not only a loss to his family, but the media industry in particular and the entire nation in general.
May Allah (SWT) bless his soul our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time .His death is a great loss to his family.
“Verily to Allah belongs what He took and to Him belongs what He gave, and everything with Him has appointed time …..And then he ordered for us to be patient and hope for Allah’s reward.
We ask Allah (Subhana Wa Ta’ala) to forgive all his sins and take his soul to Jannat ul Fardowza,ameen. And give patience to his family and magnify your reward at this time.
