Somaliland: Do They Really Know the Bashe Awil They So Criticize?

Date:

Hargeisa (Wargane News)The opposition should have really researched into the life history of Basha Awil Haj Omar before they showed their ill-informed hand through their mouth-piece, the fictitious Mustafa Abdi.

I and Basha have been close friends for over 30 years since our childhood years – at home and at school, among which was Sheikh Madar Upper primary, Hargeisa.
Basha is among the few Somalis who have shown out of the immigrant youth throng by taking full advantage of the resources and the hospitality host countries so advanced in areas that a developing nation such as ours can so effectively put to harness: science, technology, engineering, etc.
Basha graduated from the third most prestigious college in England – the University College of Londn (UCL) in chemistry, and went on to Manchester University for his masters on Petrochemistry.
Upon graduation, Basha joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a research scientist in California, USA, where he stayed with them for over 10 years, before he was shifted to their UK-side offices in Manchester in 2007, where he stayed for 4 more years. In both of these places, Basha owned his own house long before his father-in-law, the incumbent President, ascended to office. He never had a need for a financial prop – now or then.
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (NYSE: TMO) is the world leader in serving science, with revenues of $17 billion and 50,000 employees in 50 countries. Through their four premier brands – Thermo Scientific, Life Technologies, Fisher Scientific and Unity Lab Services – offer an unmatched combination of innovative technologies, purchasing convenience and comprehensive support, according to info posted on the company’s official website: http://www.thermofisher.com.
Anyone who has come in contact with Basha would tell you he is a charismatic, sociable intellectual whose personality and approach to life is an open university to close associates, colleagues at work and acquaintances alike.
I only have one word for the hate-blinded, subjective characters that so misuse the country’s tolerance and freedom of human speech: do not masquerade behind non-existent masks spouting inane profanities against the starkly visible development in Somaliland headed by H.E. Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud, the President. It is not Basha that you wish to vilify but Somaliland. Do not insult Somalilander intelligence by making an ordinary citizen the subject of your ill-advised offensive. Or, according to you, is being the son-in-law of President Siilaanyo a crime? For your information, Basha’s eldest child is seventeen. Seventeen!
Finally, if this Mustafa Abdi character is so in love with Mohamed Saeed Morgan, one of the topmost war criminals against Somaliland, he can find him in either Kismayo or Nairobi. I am sure you do not wish to take along the orphans and widows left behind by this Morgan character, Ali Samatar, Gaanni and their elk.
Mustafa (or whoever you are), go find your bird of the same feather in your role model: Morgan. Go!
