The President of the Republic of Somaliland H.E. Musa Bihi Abdi, held a crucial meeting aimed at accelerating the issues of holding of elections and reviewing public security in the country with the heads of political organizations who are geared towards participating in the upcoming political party elections after having sailed through verification processes.
The meeting, which was attended by all the leaders of the political organizations, was focused on how to prepare together for the election of the political organizations for the three top spots of official political parties for a ten year period.
Peaceful stability and the safeguarding of the security were top in their itinerary for discussion.
The meeting came a few days after the Head of State issued a decree to implement the organization of elections for national organizations/parties at the end of this year and that of the presidential election next year.
On the other hand, the President H.E. Musa Bihi Abdi, had invited the leaders of the national political parties to a similar meeting, but UCID and WADDANI failed to appear, lending credence to the fact that they are undermining democracy and developing cold feet to enter elections by not being content with the voice of the people
