The mayor told residents to work together towards beautification of the city.

“Support Hargeisa and shop here (police line market)”, he said as he graced its inauguration.

The mayor cut off the ribbon of a market that was set up in the police line neighborhood in the center of Hargeisa called on the community to support the traders.

“We, the leaders of the local government, will come to this market for services”, he said supportively.

A woman trader at the market said that they at least earned their daily bread from their enterprises.

“God’s grace distributes, and I and other people who were doing business in this market did not spend a day without our daily breads”, noting the market’s viability.
