President Ing-wen Portrayed Taiwan-Somaliland Relations Fruit-bearing

THT- Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen hailed the friendly and diplomatic relations between the Republic of Somaliland and Taiwan.

Her Somaliland representative, Amb Lou C. Allen, had a meeting earlier on with Somaliland President Musa Bihi at the presidential palace. She said she was pleased to see that the cooperation between Somaliland and Taiwan as fruit-bearing.

A short statement Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen posted on her Twitter account in appreciation to President Muse Bihi Abdi said “President Muse Bihi, glad to see our collaboration is bearing fruitful.”

President Tsai Ing-wen added in her message that a bright future was ahead of Somaliland and Taiwan. “As fellow democracies, I’m sure there is a bright future ahead for the Taiwan-Somaliland partnership, as published Horn Africa Newspaper Nov 4th.

 

  Abdi gave a brief on his earlier meeting with Taiwan Amb Allen C. Lou, through his Twitter, “We had in-depth discussions on Education, Trade, Health, ICT and the ways to bolster our common shared principles and ties between Somaliland and Taiwan.”

Somaliland and Taiwan established diplomatic relations earlier this year, which has grown to the point where each other has a representative office in either capital.
