Breaking: Somali PM sacks Minister for Education

Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire on Thursday sacked the country’s Education Minister, Abdirahman Dahir Osman.

Khaire in a decree said the dismissal took immediate effect and that the state minister for Education, Abdirahman Mohamud Abdulle Jabir will take over until the appointment of the new minister.

The prime minister did not give reasons for the drastic action on Osman who on Wednesday released 2017-2018 secondary examination results.
