Somalia prime minister, Hassan Ali Khaire has appointed 6 new ministers, deputies and State ministers on Tuesday night to complete his cabinet, Garowe Online reports.
The PM has made the announcement to fill the months-long vacant positions.
– The names of the new Ministers –
1 – Hassan Moalim Hussein – Minister of Religious Affairs
2 – Hassan Ali Mohamed – Defense minister
3 – Dahir Mohamud Gelleh – Minister of Information
4 – Abdulaziz Abdullahi Mohamed – Minister of Energy and Water
5 – Hamza Said Hamza – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management
6 – Abdifitah Mohamed Ibrahim – Minister of Public Works and Housing
– Deputy ministers –
1 – Isack Mohamed Mohamud – deputy Interior minister
2 – Aden Isack Ali – deputy Information minister
3 – Abdirahman Idan Yonis, deputy minister of Post, Telecom and Technology,
4 – Mohamed Said Abdullahi – deputy health minister
5 – Abdirashid Mohamud Hassan – deputy minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management.

1 – Dahir Abdi Abdullahi – State minister for Trade and Industry
2 – Mohamud Mohamed Bunow – State minister for Security
The new ministers include Dahir Mohamud Gelle, the current Somali Ambassador to Saudi Arabia who held the post in the past during last transitional government led by Sharif Sheikh Ahmed 2009-2012.
Khaire, who is a former executive of British energy explorer Soma Oil & Gas has been in office since February 2017 after President Farmajo picked him as the country’s prime minister.
