Two small planes collided at Adan Adde International Airport on Saturday in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.
A small plane owned by European Union (EU) was taxying along the runway near the former terminal of the airport when it clipped the wing of a small passenger plane waiting to depart for a domestic flight
The fuel tank of the passenger plane which is owned by Galeyr Comapnay dented and was seen losing fuel.
No one was injured in the incident and the airport authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
A picture on Social media showed damage to the right wing of the passenger plane and fuel poured on the floor.
Galeyr company and EU officials in Mogadishu did not comment on the incident.
