The Somaliland’s Foreign Minister Dr. Saad Ali Shire receives with Mr.Yusuf M. Dawaleh the President of Chamber of Commerce in Djibouti.
Mr Yusuf Dawaleh mentioned that the campaign has officially started in Somaliland whilst making this official visit to Somaliland. He also saw the passion and interest the people of Somaliland are showcasing for a free and fair elections.
They both agreed to focus on youth development programs which Djibouti recently has launched.
The Foreign Minister reiterated that Somaliland and Djibouti share cultural and a strong bond for decades, and with a new leader in the horizon the government of Somaliland will not comprise this brotherly relations.
Geographically, Djibouti is located at North-West of Somaliland. The famous city of Zayla at Salal region of Somaliland serves as major trade link between the two countries; the countries exchange millions of dollars in trade every year. both Djibouti and Somaliland share common major businessmen.
The people of both the countries share language, religion, culture and are kinsmen in addition to history of living in peace and harmony. Both Somali tribes in Djibouti are also citizens of Somaliland and vice versa.
