H.E President Ahmed Mohamed today at the Presidential palace in a closed door meet with the representatives of six international relief organizations from Kuwait and Qatar.
The President during the meeting with the visiting representatives of the international relief organizations emphasized the need for urgent intervention to save tens of thousands of lives.
They also discussed wide issues regarding their work in the country.
The African Relief commission officials also handed over five newly dug boreholes to the government.
The visiting representatives of the international relief organizations speaking during a press conference promised to double the ongoing relief work to ensure humanitarian assistance reaches those most in need.
They further pledged to work closely with local authorities to expedite the delivery of assistance.
