The annual ceremony of Togdher region’s Diaspora commemoration held in state house of Buroa city on Saturday evening.
The occasion attended by the minister of public works and housing, state minister of planning, Togdheer regional governor, Sanag Regional governor, Mayor of Buroa district, Burcoa district councilors, and hundreds of region’s Diaspora in the country. Buroa residents as well as regional dignitaries were in the attendance.

On his part Somaliland’s Minister of public works, Ali Hassan Mohamed, spotlighted that the country’s Diaspora in worldwide have had lion’s share of reconstructing of the country. He likewise expounded that they are the biggest source of Somaliland’s economy.
President Silanyo rewarded the Diaspora for nominating most of his government officials for a Diaspora, said the Somaliland Minister of public works.
