Somaliland has let the chance to go by after the Gerd Muller, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation & Development of Germany has cancel a visit to pay to Hargeisa this week.
German Minister for Development and International Cooperation, Dr Gerd Müller, began a five-day tour of the East African countries of Kenya, Tanzania and Djibouti on 29 March. With this trip, the German government wants to raise global awareness about the crises in the region.
The minister was scheduled to arrive in Hargeisa on last Sunday whereby reports for the minister’s cancellation is that Somaliland is not in touch with German government.
Senior officials who accompanied the German Minister has appealed to Somaliland government to make ready projects that the German government implemented in the country and the areas that the minister is due to tour.
After Somaliland authority failed to prepare the smooth receiving of German minister and lack of communication from foreign ministry has prompted the German minister to cancel his trip to Somaliland.
