The Minister of Interior, Ali Mohamed Waranade has dismissed the head of Somaliland’s Immigration Department. The Minister of Interior has appointed Hon. Dayib Osman Alin to be the new head of Immigration police. The newly appointed official used to hold the post during president Riyale’s era. The reasons for sacking the head of PI is not known.
