African Union Mission in Somalia Police has today concluded training for 40 Female officers from Somalia Police force.
The training aimed at improving skills of Somalia police women in the Police force and preparing them of playing different roles in the police force.
The program which was funded by UNDP was also aimed at encouraging Somalia Police Women to take leadership in the police force as well as gathering intelligence information for the police.
In the closing Ceremony, Amisom Police Director, Sylavia Auma has encouraged the Somalia Police Women to serve their nation with dedication and determination.
Mr.Auma also called the trainees to pass the knowledge to other female police in the Police Force.
On their part, the trainees appreciated Amisom training and promised to utilize the rare training which they said is vital in their daily activities in the police force.
