Somali National capital city Mogadishu has these days been witnessing a increased day-and-night long security operation to foil insecurity attempts by Al-shabab and other groups against peace in the city, RBC reports.
Somali Security agencies has stepped up operations as more soldiers were deployed to the most parts of the war-ravaged capital city to prevent the well-known on and off attacks by the terrorist-linked militants Al-shabab.
Somali Federal ministry of security spokesman Mohamed Yusuf commenting on these operations has termed them as ”Security Improving” operations, adding it will continue.
The people of Mogadishu have welcomed these operations and promised to cooperate with the police according the spokesman.
Mogadishu has witnessed a string of deadly terror attacks since Al-shabab were driven out of Mogadishu in 2011.
