Somaliland’s Minister of Interior Mr. Ali Mohamed Waran’ade has on Tuesday appointed Ibrahim Ahmed Rabi as the new secretariat for Hargeisa Local municipality.
According to a ministerial decree (pictured below) Ref WAG/XW/86/72/2015 issued on March 10, 2015, the Interior Minister informed Marodijeh governor and members of Hargeisa Local Council that Ibrahim Ahmed Rabi was appointed as the new secretary for Hargeisa Local Government.
The Interior Minister also ordered the chairman of Hargeisa Local Council and the Mayor of Hargeisa Abdirahman Mohamoud Aideed to facilitate the new secretary’s ease assumption of duty through an immediate hand over.
The new Hargeisa Local Council municipality secretary Ibrahim Ahmed Rabi is a well-educated veteran with a strong track record in cross-government working will replace the former Hargeisa Local municipality Mr. Mawlid Waris.
